Building small houses is not our only bag of goods. RTS started with a historic home is Social Circle, GA. It was love at first sight but this old dame needed a lot of love. With a great deal of peeling paint, NO insulation, heating but no air (in the south, no less) and many other issues that needed addressing we got to work. It took us about a year to turn this gorgeous home around. There isn’t one room we didn’t touch whether to replace the windows with thermopane sashes, to refinish the original floors, repainting with Sherwin Williams or installing blown-in insulation throughout. The list of all of the features we renovated, installed and restored are below. This first project was truly a labor of love from beginning to end. We have seen the entire town begin to sit up and take on more renovation projects throughout the historic district and beyond. It is amazing what one project can do for a whole town. Now this grand house is on the market and ready to become a great family house. If you are looking for the perfect small town house that is close to big city events and entertainment then this is the home for you.
