RTS Historic Homes is a historic remodeling firm with something for every homeowner and a love of sustainability. Historic properties are the house specialty but not our only course. We can bring historic character to any home, inside and out. RTS will bring the shine back to a grand ole beauty or make any Joe Schmoe House be the envy of the neighborhood. 

Tara Miller

Lead Designer/Project Manager

Tara has been designing spaces and managing projects for 10 years. She has a degree in History from Clayton State University and a Residential Planning Diploma from the Art Institute. Tara is proficient in AutoCAD, space planning, Adobe Creative Suite, Kitchen & Bath Design and Furniture Design.

You can often find Tara reading a good book, knitting a new wool hat or sewing everything under the sun. Tara is a passionate animal lover and relishes hiking with her rescue dogs and cat. She loves to travel but also enjoys a nice night at home with her family, a glass of wine and chocolate. 

Ryan Cunningham

Foreman

Building since he was wee, Ryan perfers to create with salvadged materials. He has built a man-cave with all the fixin's in his backyard and spends his work hours scaling roofs, erecting walls and perfecting the details of our projects. Ryan has a vast knowledge of construction, painting and finishing.

Ryan and his wife love to get away on the weekends, kick-back with friends and travel to fesitvals. He works on home projects and knows all the best local eateries. 

Garrett Miller
​
Handyman

Garrett can, and often does, fix everything he can get his hands on. He and his dad rebuilt a 1968 Camaro SS when he was 17 and Garrett is now an award winning motorcycle technician. He has built his own 1000 SF shop, including the electrical, air compressor conduit and mezzanine. Garrett makes sure details are attended to, plumb-lines are given due consideration and studs are always used for securing.

Garrett uses his free time to work in his motorcycle shop, spend time with friends and relax. His future building plans include a 2400 SF low country style home for his family and a craftsman style guest house for his abundant family that, unfortunately, lives out of town.
