Historic School House Remodel:
This school house built in the 1920's has been long overdue for an update. Serving the area as a communal kitchen, gathering place and sometimes hosting festivals, the kitchen was not ADA compliant or energy efficient. The new design incorporates hints of years past, a 1920's style and energy star appliances.

Ping Wang

Ping Wang's Taste of China, Madison, GA:
Set to open mid-August 2016, this fresh new Chinese restaurant will be unlike any other American-Chinese restaurant. Ping Wang, the chef, is bringing authentic Chinese recipes that combine fresh ingredients and a new twist on classic dishes that will make your mouth water. Our design features classic emblematic Chinese icons of deep wood tones, rich reds and a hint of black so you know you are walking into a small area of China. Ornate carved wood panels provide privacy in the cozy booths, large televisions offer a streaming view into the beautiful landscape of China and the warm, neutral walls and stained wood paneling create a gorgeous background to Ping's delicious cuisine.

Jordan-Bellew House, Monticello, GA:
With construction starting in the 1830's and a completion date in the 1850's, the Jordan-Bellew house boasted many wonders, insulation was not one of them. The new sustainable, historically relevant design will include to-code insulation, water saving fixtures in the 4 new bathrooms, energy star appliances and LED lights, just to get started. The new kitchen redesign will increase the workspace by 200% and include granite countertops, all wood cabinets and vintage style lighting.

Living Room Board

Living Room Board

Historic Building Remodel in Pittsburg:
Our client wanted a semi-open floor plan with an art nouveau style. With a young autistic son, a neutral and calming environment was a must. The design features an updated dining room, living room and master bedroom with a new floor plan throughout with an eye to a complete thermal envelope for a more sustainable living.
